Comfortable reading code (any language) and using a terminal. No prior experience with a specific framework, database, or cloud provider required — Claude Code bridges the gaps.
The Shape of a Modern SaaS Application Coming Soon
Learn the shape of a modern SaaS application: the three planes (data, compute, edge) every SaaS app is built from, and the three cross-cutting concerns (identity, observability, deployment) that tie them together. Walk through each component database, cache, API, background jobs, object storage, email, payments, search, realtime, auth, secrets, rate limiting, observability, frontend, deployment and understand when your product needs it, when it doesn't, and what breaks if you skip it. By the end of this course you will be able to look at a SaaS product idea and name the components it requires, pick a starting architecture (almost always a modular monolith), and know which of the other courses in this path to take next for the specific pieces your product needs.
Backend APIs with Claude Code Coming Soon
Build your first backend API with Claude Code as your coding partner. Learn what an API actually is in plain English, how it responds to the requests your frontend sends, how to shape data between the client and server, how to handle errors cleanly, how to document what your API offers, and how to test it. Every lesson leans on Claude Code you describe what you want, Claude Code writes the code, you run it and understand what came back. You do not need to know TypeScript, Node, or any framework going in; the lessons teach you what to ask for. By the end of this course you will have a working REST API running in your lab environment, you will understand each piece of code Claude Code wrote, and you will be able to extend it on your own.
